» ResumePast Research: I did my undergraduate research at the Max-Delbrück Center
for Molecular Medicine in Berlin, Germany. This research focused on genotyping
the hearts of transgenic rats that over expressed the human atrial essential
myosin light chain. This research was important to patients that suffered from
hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
Current Research: Currently, I am working with microbes in the marine environment.
This research focuses stable carbon isotope discrimination by Form IC Rubisco
enzymes in the organisms, Rhodobacter sphaeroides and Ralstonia eutropha.
Future Research: My future research areas and career goals involve working
as a clinical microbiologist at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
