Dear All,
Here is the link to pictures taken in Utrech and more where Dr. Whitney,Kaiem, Carmen, Ryan, Patrick and myself attended the Science Steering Evaluation Panel for the Integrated Ocean Drilling Program. The Consortium for Ocean Leadership was our cosponsor and here are the three main lessons I learned:
1 - The importance of having clear objectives and testable hypothesis.
2 - The importance of multidisciplinary approach and multinational coolaboration in addressing scientific issues of global concern.
3 - The importance of nurturing the sciences and providing sound feedback to promote great science initiatives!

My Phase II was in Boston at Wood Hole Oceanic Institute. It was amazing too!

| Yeah Guleed, the SSEP meeting was based in Utrecht. It is a great little town. We all had a lot of fun exploring all the canals. I must have missed the herring sandwiches though. |
